Preparations for the next RotorDrone Forum are already in the making. The 7th RotorDrone Forum will take place on January 28 and 29, 2027, once again at the familiar venue of the Helicopter Museum in Bückeburg. As always, the event will be hosted by the Hubschrauberzentrum e.V.
The world of drones has changed significantly over the past two or three years. Both the technology and its potential applications have developed at a rapid pace. Today, drones have become part of everyday life in many areas. In addition to civilian applications, the military significance of drones has also changed. International conflicts have demonstrated just how strongly modern warfare is increasingly shaped by unmanned aerial vehicles. Small, relatively inexpensive drones can be used for reconnaissance and surveillance, or even to carry out targeted attacks.
As a result, public perceptions of drones have changed to some extent. Many people now associate them not only with innovation, but also with surveillance and security concerns.
Drones have become more powerful, more versatile, and more widespread. At the same time, they raise new questions regarding operational safety, ethics, and data protection.
The 7th RotorDrone Forum aims to provide answers to these questions.
